Listed below are the test results of all the students with whom I have worked. Most had fully-prepared with top test-prep companies and already taken the GMAT before our work began. (updated 5/8/2012)
- 131: Total number of students who have taken an official GMAT after working with me.
- 80: Had taken the GMAT prior to working with me and reported their score to me after a retake.
- 55 points: Mean score increase by these students.
- 36: Had not taken the GMAT previously and reported their score to me afterwards.
- 88 points: Mean score increase by these students. (Over their last practice test before working with me, if known. Otherwise over their first full practice test.)
- 15: Number of students that didn’t report back their score or canceled their score. (Most prior to 2008. Wasn’t too vigilant about this when I started.)
- 80: Had taken the GMAT prior to working with me and reported their score to me after a retake.
Overall, only eight students had received a 650 or above on the official GMAT or the GMATPrep exam (if no official test) before working with me. After our work, 57 of my students scored a 650 or higher.

What is your chance of success?
Including all 131 students, and assuming zero improvement from the fifteen that did not report their scores, the average score increase was 58 points. Nearly one-half increased their score by 80 points or more. Most of these students had already fully prepared and had taken the official test at least once.
